Perilous Legends Wiki

Unique Systems

The custom systems that make Perilous Legends its own game. Every one has a full page - this is the map to all of them.

Overview

Perilous Legends is a classic-era Ultima Online world with a lot layered on top. The systems below are the reason people stay - a full MOBA, an arena shooter, a real casino, guild warfare, a caravan economy, and a stack of crafting and cosmetic tools. Skim the groups and dive into whatever fits how you want to spend your night.

Battlegrounds

Paintball

A fast, gear-driven arena shooter with its own weapons and consumables. Free-for-all, team modes, and capture-the-flag, plus a battle-royale storm that shrinks the field.

Hamlets & Siege

Guilds fight over hamlets: territory with destructible walls and a real reward for holding it, including an ethereal Garuda mount locked to the controlling guild.

The Casino

A working casino floor with eight games of chance, run server-side so the odds are honest. It doubles as a deliberate gold sink for the shard's economy.

Make a Living

Trade Packs

The shard's caravan trade and its top honest earner. Buy a region's goods, haul the pack overland on your back, and sell it far away for a premium. Slow, visible, and worth real gold.

Guild System

Guilds live on the paperdoll Guild button: found one at the Guild button (paid from your bank), earn renown from everything your members do, level up for guild-wide perks, run a governed treasury with a permanent ledger, and conduct wars and alliances from one castle window.

Treasure Maps

Map pieces in five sizes lead to a hundred charted treasure sites, every chest guarded until its guardians fall. Pieces are points too: a hundred of them bind into the Gargantuan Trove Map, the richest chest in the game, with a boss over it and ten power scrolls for the people who bring him down.

Sea Maps & the Sunken Trove

Nets hauled from a fishing boat stir up the sea; titans and krakens carry wax sealed bottles; the hundred clue fragments inside build four sunken codexes, each charting a double barnacled chest; all four make the Seafarer's Magical Compass, whose needle leads to the Sunken Trove and one of the three sea bosses.

Treasure Lock

A lockpicking minigame hidden inside dungeon treasure chests. Find a secret chamber, work five pins by ear against a rising tension gauge, and beat the song for a second chest of loot - and the only source of the Treasure Hue.

Concert Mode

A master bard's Guitar-Hero-style rhythm minigame. Great barding attempts become full concerts - play the falling notes true and your peacemaking, discordance, or provocation grows far beyond its normal power, with bardic explosions to match.

Sportfishing

Hook a prize fish and fight it through a reel-and-slack minigame. The bigger the catch, the harder the fight - the toughest fish add extra moves to master.

Agriculture

Grow crops and raise livestock. Regional farming feeds directly into the goods that trade packs haul, so the field and the caravan are two ends of one chain.

Craft & Gear

Enchanting & Skinning

Custom crafting layered onto the classic skills - enchant gear to empower it, and skin your kills for materials that feed the pipeline.

Disenchanting & Durability

Gear wears down and eventually breaks, and there is no repair. Disenchant old magic gear into powder that can restore a piece's durability. It keeps loot flowing and gear disposable.

Profession Workstations

Place-anywhere craft stations, one per profession. Double-click a station and craft right there in the field, no house or fixed forge required.

Storage Tomes

Books that store items by type with a running count - drop to deposit, click a row to withdraw. Ten of them, sold by the librarian, and the fastest way to tame an overflowing bank.

Get Around & Look Good

Mounts & Flight

Elemental steeds, exotic mounts, a rideable dolphin for the open sea, and a Garuda flight mount that glides you over the map.

Vanity & Cosmetics

The wardrobe that recolors your hair, facial hair, clothes, and even your spell effects - all from one place, so you can look exactly how you want.
