Perilous Storage Tomes
Books that swallow a whole category of clutter and hand it back on demand - the fastest way to tame an overflowing bank.
Overview
A storage tome is a book that stores one whole category of item by type, with a running count. Instead of a bank box full of loose dyes or a hundred stacks of enchanting materials, you drop them into the matching tome and it tracks how many of each you have. Click a row to pull one back out. There are ten tomes, each covering a different kind of clutter, and together they are the single biggest bank-space fix on the shard.
How a Tome Works
Every tome works the same way, so once you have used one you know them all:
- Deposit. Drop an eligible item onto the tome to file it, or use Deposit All to sweep every matching item out of your backpack in one click.
- It counts by type. The tome shows each variant and how many of it you have stored, with no cap on how many it holds. Once a count reaches 1,000 or more it is abbreviated (1.2K, for example) so a full tome stays readable. Filter tabs group things by quality, category, or tier.
- Withdraw. Click a row to take one back. Stackable items come back as a whole stack.
- Nothing you earned is lost. Items that carry unique data - treasure maps with their own dig location, for example - are kept as the real items rather than recreated, so their details survive.
- Bank it. Tomes are not blessed, but they are bankable, so a filled tome lives happily in your bank box just like the ship tomes.
The Ten Tomes
Each tome accepts one family of items. Pick up the ones that match what you actually pile up.

- "Deposit All" is the fast path - clear a whole category out of your pack in one click before a hunt.
- Tomes are bankable but not blessed, so bank the ones you are not actively feeding.
