Remove Trap

Disarm chests, and shrink the trap odds inside the Treasure Lock.

Overview

Remove Trap clears trapped containers and lowers the trap chance in the Treasure Lock minigame.

What It Does

• Requires 50 Lockpicking and 50 Detecting Hidden to use. Target an unlocked, trapped container; the roll is against the trap's strength. Failing does not set it off.
• Treasure map chests are heavily trapped; dungeon chests less so.

On Perilous Legends

• Treasure Lock: the trap chance per segment is 5% minus 1% per 20 skill over 20, so 1% at 100 and 0% at 120.

Training It

Practice on a training chest set to Remove Trap (it re-traps itself and tunes to your skill up to 95), then dungeon and treasure chests. Thieves teach it. Champion power scrolls take it to 120.
