Guild Quartermasters
Weekly bounty boards for every profession - pick one quartermaster, grind its quests, and spend the points on gear you cannot get anywhere else.
Overview
Quartermasters are the shard's weekly bounty system. Eleven of them, one for each craft or pursuit, each hand out a rotating board of quests. You pick a single quartermaster to work for that week, complete as many of its quests as you can, and bank points that you spend at that same quartermaster's reward list.
The Eleven Quartermasters
Eight are craft professions and three are adventuring pursuits. Each has its own quest pool and its own reward list.
| Quartermaster | Quests are about |
|---|---|
| Tailor | Crafting leather and cloth |
| Carpenter | Crafting shields and staves in ever-rarer woods |
| Blacksmith | Crafting plate, mail, and weapons up to exceptional valorite |
| Tinker | Crafting tools, sextants, and clockwork parts |
| Cook | Baking and cooking food in bulk |
| Fletcher | Crafting bows, crossbows, and ammunition |
| Alchemist | Brewing potions, including poisons and explosives |
| Scribe | Inscribing spell scrolls across the circles |
| Slayer | Hunting and killing set numbers of monsters |
| Treasure Hunter | Completing treasure maps and SOS bottles |
| Mariner | Killing sea monsters, salvaging SOS, and landing prize fish |
Committing for the Week
Find a quartermaster and double-click them, or just say "quests", "jobs", "guild", or "quartermaster" nearby, to open their board. It shows this week's eight quests, their point values, and the countdown to reset. Hit Commit to this and you are locked to that quartermaster for the week - all eight of its quests become active at once, and you can work them in any order.
You commit to one quartermaster per week. Once you commit you are working that board until the reset, so choose the one whose rewards you actually want. After committing, the board becomes your active quest tracker, where you check progress, read a quest's details, collect crafted turn-ins, and open the reward shop.
The Quests
Quests come in a few shapes, and each is worth 4 to 12 points depending on how much work it is. Point values are calibrated to a full week: roughly 4 points for under an hour of focused effort, up to 12 for a week-long pinnacle grind.
| Type | What you do | How it counts |
|---|---|---|
| Craft | Craft a set number of items yourself (sometimes exceptional, or in a specific material) | Turn them in with the Collect button; only items you crafted count |
| Kill | Slay a set number of a specific creature | Tracked automatically as you kill; you get a running count |
| Treasure Map | Complete a number of treasure maps at or above a level | Counts as you finish each qualifying dig |
| SOS | Recover and complete SOS message bottles at sea | Counts as you finish each one |
| Fishing | Catch and hand in prize fish at a Prize Fish Buyer | Counts on turn-in of the named fish |
Craft quests scale from easy bulk orders (60 leather tunics, 300 arrows) up to master challenges (exceptional valorite or frostwood work). Kill and Mariner quests run from clearing common mobs up to benchmark grinds like 80 lich lords or 80 krakens. You never have to take a quest you dislike - work whichever of the eight suit you.
Points & the Weekly Reset
Finishing a quest pays its points into that quartermaster's balance. Points are kept per quartermaster - Slayer points buy from the Slayer list, Tinker points from the Tinker list, and they do not pool together. Earned points carry across weeks, so you can save toward the expensive rewards over several weeks of work.
The board itself resets every week, on Friday at 9pm Eastern/Atlantic time. At reset a fresh eight quests are drawn for every quartermaster (the same eight are offered to everyone that week), your commitment clears, and any unfinished quest progress is wiped. Your accumulated points are not touched - only the active board and your weekly commitment reset. Quartermaster points also feed a shard leaderboard.
Spending Your Points
Each quartermaster sells a themed reward list for points. Costs run from about 20 points for a bolt of guild-coloured cloth up to 500 points for an ethereal mount, so the top prizes are a multi-week goal. A sampling of what is on offer:
| Reward | Where | Cost (points) |
|---|---|---|
| Ethereal Horse / Llama / Ostard (in the guild's colour) | Every quartermaster | 500 |
| Random powerscroll for that skill | Every craft/skill quartermaster | 100 |
| Runic tool or kit (tier by cost) | Smith, Tailor, Carpenter, Fletcher, Tinker | 100 / 200 / 300 |
| Guild cloth, hair dye, facial dye, backpack dye | Every quartermaster | 20 - 75 |
| Clothing / Jewelry / Runebook bless deed | Tailor, Tinker, Scribe | 50 - 200 |
| Skill-boost gear (Chef's Apron +10, Alchemist's Ring +10, Fletcher's Cap +10) | Cook, Alchemist, Fletcher | 100 - 200 |
| Random Super Slayer weapon or spellbook; Guild Sash (+10% gold) | Slayer | 50 - 75 |
| Blessed lockpick / shovel; Enchanted Pack Deed | Treasure Hunter | 100 - 400 |
| Box of Messages in Bottles; ship & cannon paint; steel hold upgrade | Mariner | 25 - 150 |
That is a slice, not the whole list - each quartermaster carries a dozen or so rewards tuned to its craft, and the guild-coloured mounts and cosmetics are unique to this system.
Tips
- Pick the quartermaster whose reward you want first, then commit - you are locked in until the reset.
- Points persist across weeks, so it is fine to chip away at a 500-point mount over several weeks.
- Craft quartermasters pair perfectly with workstations - set up a station and knock out the bulk orders in one sitting.
- The Mariner and Treasure Hunter boards reward things you would be doing at sea anyway, so their points come almost for free if that is your night.
- You can reopen your active board from anywhere with the [MyQuests command once you have committed.
