Perilous Legends Wiki

Twitch Rewards

Watch and chat in a Perilous Legends stream, earn points, spend them in game.

Overview

Perilous Legends rewards you for turning up in the community's streams. Link your Twitch account to your character once, then any time you are chatting in an approved stream you quietly build up Twitch Drop points. Spend them at the Stream Rewards vendor on cosmetics, dyes, a mount, and Perilous Marks.

Everything on the reward list can be earned this way without spending a penny. It is deliberately slow - this is a thank-you for being part of the community, not a second job.

Earning Points

Time is counted in 15 minute blocks. If you said at least one thing in chat during a block, you get 1 point when it closes. Saying more does not earn more, so there is nothing to grind and no reason to spam.

Points only accrue while the stream is actually live and streaming Ultima Online. Chatting in an offline channel earns nothing.

Linking Your Account

You only ever do this once. There are two ways, and the first is the one we recommend, because your character name never appears in a public chat:

  1. In game, type [TwitchLink. You will be given a six character code.
  2. In the stream's chat, type !link followed by that code.
  3. That is it. Check it worked with [TwitchPoints.

The code expires after 15 minutes, so generate it when you are ready to use it. If it expires, just run [TwitchLink again for a fresh one.

If you would rather start from chat, type !register YourCharacterName instead, then log in on that character and type [TwitchConfirm. The in-game confirmation is what proves the character is yours, so nobody can claim a name that is not theirs.

Chat Commands

CommandWhat it does
!link CODEFinishes linking, using the code from [TwitchLink
!register NameClaims a character name, then confirm in game
!pointsReminds you to check in game - your balance is never posted in chat
!plhelpA short explanation of how to earn

Your balance and your character name are never shown in a stream's chat. The streamer running the bot cannot see which character or account you play, or how many points you have.

Weapon and armour dyes carry five charges rather than one, because dyed gear can be lost on death. Hair, backpack and furniture colours are permanent, so those are a single use.

Void Flame

Every dye on the reward list applies Void Flame, a deep violet that is exclusive to Twitch Rewards. It does not drop, it is not sold anywhere, and it cannot be found in any treasure. If you see it, someone earned it by showing up.

For Streamers

If you stream Perilous Legends and want your viewers earning points, get in touch with the team. You will be given a small bot to run alongside your stream and a key that works only for your channel. The bot reads your chat and nothing else - it holds no player data and cannot see anyone's account, character or balance.

You do not need to be a moderator anywhere, and viewers do not need to be subscribed or follow anyone.
