Lumberjacking
Logs by the armful, and a damage bonus for every axe.
Overview
Lumberjacking cuts logs and makes axes hit harder. Perilwood, the shard's top wood, comes from hamlet groves rather than wild trees.
What It Does
- Chop trees for 10 logs a swing (20 in Felucca).
- Wild trees give plain logs. Perilwood is taken from a hamlet grove: 100 logs a day shared by everyone, no skill needed.
- Any axe deals +1% damage per 5 Lumberjacking, capped at +20%.
On Perilous Legends
- Logs cut count for the Lumberjack leaderboard. Guild perk: 10% chance to double a haul.
- Trade Pack and crafting economies all start here; see Resources.
Classes That Use It
Artisan: 1 XP per log gathered; Gathering Mastery (level 10 fork) adds +5 effective Lumberjacking, Mining and Skinning per level; Harvester (level 14) doubles hauls 10% of the time.
