Item Identification

Names the magic on an item. On this shard almost everything already comes named.

Overview

Item Identification reveals the magic properties of a weapon or piece of armor. Perilous Legends drops all magic loot already identified, so the skill has very little day-to-day use.

What It Does

• Target an item: on success it is marked identified and its full name shows.
• Used on a creature or player it simply names them.

On Perilous Legends

All magic items from monsters and chests arrive identified. There are no shard systems that read this skill.

Training It

Use it on unidentified items. Jewelers and merchants teach it.
